New NICOP Fee for Pakistanis in UAE: Updated Rates for April 2025

Pakistani citizens residing in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) can now avail a National Identity Card for Overseas Pakistanis (NICOP) for themselves and their family members at the Pakistani consulates in Dubai and Abu Dhabi. The fee for the NICOP for Pakistanis residing in the UAE will be paid in dirhams.

The Pakistani consulates in the UAE has a full-fledged NADRA office providing NICOP, Child Registration Certificate (CRC), Family Registration Certificate (FRC) and biometric verification for Succession certificate, among other services.

Benefits of NICOP for Pakistani Nationals

NICOP holders enjoy several advantages:

• They can enter Pakistan using a foreign passport without needing a visa.

• They are officially recognized as Pakistani citizens.

• They can buy and sell property in Pakistan.

• They have the ability to open a bank account in Pakistan.

• NICOP holders are eligible to apply for a Pakistani passport.

• They also have the right to vote while in Pakistan.

New NICOP Fees in the UAE

According to the official website of the Pakistan Consulate in the UAE, the standard fee for a new NICOP is 75 Dirhams. For expedited services, NADRA charges 110 Dirhams NICOP fee for urgent processing and 150 Dirhams for the executive category from Pakistanis in the UAE.
