Sindh Government to Present Fiscal Year Budget 2025-26 on June 13
The Sindh government has announced that it will present the budget for the upcoming fiscal year 2025-26 on June 13.
According to the reports, a three-day meeting chaired by Provincial Minister for Planning and Development Nasir Shah finalized the budget proposals.
The development budget for 57 provincial departments and autonomous bodies has been set at Rs 600 billion.
The proposed allocations include Rs 13 billion for agriculture, Rs 8 billion for school education, Rs 4 billion for forestry, and Rs 51 billion for health.
Additionally, Rs 4 billion has been allocated for industry, Rs 96 billion for irrigation, Rs 13 billion for municipalities, and Rs 16 billion for planning.
The budget also proposes Rs 14 billion for services, Rs 57 billion for transport, Rs 1.39 trillion for works and services, and Rs 11 billion for the home department.
The finalized Sindh budget for 2025-26 will be officially presented on June 13.
