Pakistan Railways Denies Attack on Jaffer Express
Jacobabad— A major incident occurred near Jacobabad on Wednesday when the Peshawar-bound Jaffar Express, en route to Quetta, derailed after an explosion on the railway track.
According to railway sources, six bogies of the passenger train went off the track. Initial reports confirm that several passengers sustained injuries in the accident.
The explosion took place near the livestock market in Jacobabad, causing the derailment. Police have sealed off the area and initiated an investigation to determine the nature of the blast.
Authorities have confirmed that there was no loss of life in the incident.
