Netflix Drops First Look of Taskaree: The Smuggler’s Web

Netflix has released the trailer for Taskaree: The Smuggler’s Web, a customs thriller featuring Emraan Hashmi as the head of a task force taking on an international smuggling network.

The series follows the task force as they track smugglers transporting illegal goods through secret routes in cities including Al-Dera, Addis Ababa, Milan, and Bangkok. The officers operate under constant pressure, where even a small mistake can unravel weeks of meticulous investigation. Opposing them is smuggling kingpin Bada Chaudhary, portrayed by Sharad Kelkar, who controls an extensive network built on deception, forged documents, and hidden pathways.

Emraan Hashmi said, “The overwhelming love for the teaser has been truly encouraging. Taskaree is my first collaboration with Neeraj and this exceptionally talented cast, and it has been an immensely rewarding experience. What impressed me most about the series is its grounded and intelligent approach to heroism.”
