Watch: Undertaker, Cena return to aid Cody

08 April, 2024 13:56

Cody Rhodes aka ‘The American Nightmare’ finally finished the story at WrestleMania 40 with help of Jey Uso, Seth Rollins, John Cena, and The Undertaker.

Rhodes had been on a mission since returning to the WWE a couple of years ago at WrestleMania 38.

He had a spectacular match against defending Champion Roman Reigns back in WrestleMania 39, but The Bloodline proved too strong for him to overcome the obstacle.

Despite losing to The Rock, also known as ‘The Final Boss’, and Roman on the night one of the WrestleMania 40, he came prepared to tackle the Bloodline on the night two.

Solo Sikoa, who helped Roman in successfully defending his title last year, made his mark in the match, but WWE great John Cena came to aid Cody. He hit his signature move on both Roman and Solo to bring the odds even again.

The crowd went bananas when iconic Shied music was played with Seth Rollins emerging from the crowd with a steel chair in hand.  The Rock had no clue about Rollins, but The Tribal Chief – a former Shied member – exactly knew what was going to happen.

He came up running to his Rollins with a Superman Punch to save The Rock. When everyone started to believe that that was it for Cody then the Undertaker emerged out of nowhere.

He chock-slammed The Rock before vanishing from the ring.
