Weather turns pleasant after Karachi receive light showers

The weather in Karachi turned pleasant after the metropolis received showers this morning, GTV reported on Friday.

The light showers were reported in various parts of the city. The areas receiving the downpour are II Chundrigar Road, Shahra-e-Faisal, Old City Area, MA Jinnah Road, Saddar and neighboring localities.

The showers extended their embrace to Gulshan-e-Iqbal and Gulistan-e-Jauhar.

Different areas of the city, including Super Highway, Nooriabad, Kathor, and their surroundings earlier received showers on Tuesday, as well.

Moreover, the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) earlier warned that snowfall over the upper parts of the country may affect transportation on Friday so the tourists and locals of hilly areas were advised to be cautious.

Met officials said a westerly wave was affecting western and upper parts of the country and likely to persist during next few days.
