PMD Warns of Intensifying Heatwave in Lahore – No Rain Expected?

The Pakistan Meteorological Department has issued an alert regarding the heatwave conditions across Punjab, with Lahore also under its influence.

According to today’s forecast, partly cloudy skies are expected, with intermittent sunlight as clouds drift across the sky. Meanwhile, dusty winds are likely to sweep through the area.

The Met Office reports that there is little chance of rain, and the dry spell is forecast to continue for the next two to three days.

In Lahore, temperatures are predicted to range between a minimum of 24°C and a maximum of 38°C leading to a heatwave in the city.

Officials further noted that the ongoing dry conditions could lead to even higher temperatures, intensifying the heat in the coming days.

The public has been urged to take necessary precautions to stay safe during the hot and dry weather.
