Karachi Weather Alert: Rain Expected from July 1 to July 5, 2025

Karachi: On Wendnesday, July 2, 2025, the Pakistan Meteorological Department announced that monsoon rains are expected to start in parts of Sindh, including Karachi. According to the department’s spokesperson Anjum Nazir, moist monsoon winds have begun entering southeastern Sindh.

The weather system is likely to bring rainfall to areas such as Tharparkar, Nagarparkar, and Mithi starting today until July 5. Karachi may see light rain and drizzle during this period.

Anjum Nazir also said that from July 8 to July 11, Karachi could experience moderate rain with stronger showers. The weather in Karachi is expected to be cloudy and humid today, with increased moisture in the air.

Residents are advised to prepare for wet conditions and possible disruptions caused by rain. The Meteorological Department will continue to monitor the situation and provide updates as needed.
