Meteorological Department Warns of Heavy Rain Across Multiple Regions in Pakistan
The Meteorological Department has predicted heavy rainfall across several regions of the country.
According to PMD, rain is expected today in Islamabad, with chances of heavy showers in certain areas.
Rain is also anticipated in cities including Rawalpindi, Murree, Galiyat, Jhelum, Attock, Chakwal, Mianwali, Sargodha, Gujrat, Sialkot, Sheikhupura, Gujranwala, Hafizabad, Narowal, Lahore, Faisalabad, Jhang, and Toba Tek Singh.
In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, areas such as Peshawar, Dir, Chitral, Swat, Buner, Shangla, Battagram, Abbottabad, Mansehra, Haripur, Malakand, Mardan, Swabi, Bajaur, Mohmand, Kurram, Khyber, Kohat, Karak, Lakki Marwat, Bannu, Waziristan, and Tank are likely to receive rainfall.
In Sindh, most areas will remain hot, although showers are expected in Sanghar, Umerkot, Tharparkar, Mithi, and Mirpur Khas. In Balochistan, while the weather is expected to stay hot and humid in many districts, rain is predicted in Barkhan, Musakhel, Loralai, Khuzdar, and Awaran.
