Karachi Hit with Heatwave? PMD Issues Forecast of Hot Weather

Due to the suspension of sea breezes, a suffocating atmosphere continues to prevail. The Meteorological department has forecast that the humid weather will persist today, with chances of light drizzle in the evening and night.

According to the department, the recent heatwave in Karachi is expected to last until tomorrow. At present, the temperature has been recorded at 29°C, though the intensity of heat is being felt as 33°C. During the daytime, the mercury is likely to rise up to 36°C, the Meteorological Department added.

Karachi began the day with hot weather, according to the Meteorological Department. The sky over the city remained partly cloudy, while the conditions turned extremely hot and humid.
