Karachi to Receive Rainfall, Urban Flooding Warning Issued

KARACHI: The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has issued a weather forecast predicting rainfall across Sindh, including Karachi, in the coming days.

According to the PMD, a low-pressure system has developed over the Bay of Bengal. This weather system is expected to impact Sindh between September 7 and 11.

Under the influence of this system, moderate to heavy rainfall is likely in various parts of the province, with rain also expected in Karachi.

The Met Office has also warned that urban flooding could occur in Karachi if heavy rains hit the city during this period.
