Met Office forecast heavy rainfall in Karachi

The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has predicted another spell of heavy monsoon rains in Karachi and different parts of Sindh.

According to the Met Office, rain is expected to start in Karachi from the evening of September 6 and continue till September 9. Thunderstorms with heavy showers are also likely in Hyderabad, Thatta, Badin, and Sujawal.

Other districts including Tharparkar, Umerkot, Mirpurkhas, Sanghar, and Khairpur are also expected to receive strong rainfall during this period.

The weather department has warned that due to heavy downpours, low-lying areas of Karachi may face urban flooding. Citizens are advised to take precautions and stay updated with weather alerts.
