Karachi Weather Update: What to expect in next 24 hours

Karachi will stay cold and dry over the next 24 hours, with occasional strong winds. The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has said that winds could reach speeds of 30 to 35 km/h at times.

Tonight, temperatures are expected to drop to between 8°C and 10°C, while daytime temperatures will reach a maximum of 20°C to 22°C. Today, the minimum temperature was recorded at 8°C, showing that the cold is noticeable even during the day. Currently, winds are coming from the northeast at 8 km/h, and humidity is at 54%.

The weather will remain cold with cloudy intervals:

• Saturday, Jan 24: High of 20°C, low of 11°C, cloudy skies, 10% chance of light rain, northeast winds at 18 mph.

• Tonight: Temperature will drop to 11°C under cloudy skies.

• Sunday, Jan 25: High of 21°C, low of 12°C, mostly cloudy with breezy northeast winds at 17 mph.

Residents are advised to stay warm as the cold persists, especially during the night and early morning hours.
