Rain, thunderstorms likely in Karachi, other Sindh cities on Eid
KARACHI:Â The city is likely to remain dry over the next 24 hours, but rain with thunder and lightning may return to nearby areas on the first day of Eid ul Fitr 2026. This change is expected due to a westerly weather system affecting many parts of the country.

The weather has become cooler at night after recent rainfall in the city. The department said that rain is likely in different parts of Sindh on the first day of Eid, including Sukkur, Larkana, Hyderabad, and coastal areas. There is also a risk of lightning during the rain.
More areas such as Kamber Shahdadkot, Shikarpur, Jamshoro, Thatta, Badin, Umerkot, and Mirpurkhas may also receive rain. Farmers have been advised to take care of their crops according to the weather conditions.
For Karachi, the sky is expected to remain cloudy on the second day of Eid and partly cloudy on the third day. Temperatures will stay moderate, with slight changes over the next few days. Winds are expected to blow from the west and southwest.
