PDMA Punjab Reports Three Major Accidents in Last 24 Hours Amid Heavy Rain and Strong Winds

Islamabad: The Punjab Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) has released its 24-hour incident report, highlighting three major accidents caused by heavy rainfall and strong winds across the province.

According to the PDMA spokesperson, two people lost their lives and nine others sustained injuries in these incidents. The fatalities included one adult male and a child.

In a tragic accident in Kasur, a wall of a hall collapsed, resulting in the death of a child and injuries to six others. The injured include men, women, and children, officials confirmed.

The PDMA assured that, following the directives of the Chief Minister of Punjab, affected citizens will be compensated for their losses. Financial assistance will also be provided to the families of the deceased.

PDMA officials emphasized that safety measures and awareness campaigns will continue to mitigate the impact of extreme weather events in the future.
