‘Whether Pakistan wins or England, it is our victory’

London Mayor Sadiq Khan has said that whether the Pakistan team wins or England, in both cases it is our victory.

“There will be a very good match today,” says Sadiq Khan while expressing his views about the ongoing T20 series at a dinner hosted in his and Pakistan team honour by Pakistani High Commissioner Dr. Muhammad Faisal.

Khan added that Babar Azam is his favorite player and  a role model.

The Labour Party politician said: “Watching Pakistan team’s bowling reminds me of Waqar Younis and Wasim Akram.”

The dinner was attended among others by Interior Minister and PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi, former prime minister Anwaarul Haq Kakar, important personalities and members of the Muslim community.
