Former deputy CM slams Indian govt for destroying cultural identity of IOJK – Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
While addressing Congress workers at Khour in Jammu (IOJK), former IIOJ&K Deputy Chief Minister and senior Congress leader Tara Chand said this in Jammu IOJK.

He accused BJP-led Indian government of destroying the cultural identity of Jammu and Kashmir by selling the land to outsiders.
He said that led by Bharatiya Janata Party had earlier promised to securing land and jobs for the local youth.
But he said the BJP took a U-turn and it has now decided to open it for everyone reducing the opportunity for the locals.
On the other hand, senior Hurriyat leader Professor Abdul Ghani Butt said Kashmiris would not allow India to rob them of their land and destiny through changing the demography of the territory.
He said this, while addressing a public gathering in Sopore.
Butt said Kashmir is a disputed territory and a global political problem, which needs to be understood by the Indian rulers.
The Hurriyat leader asked for settlement of the Kashmir dispute through political dialogue between Pakistan, India and the real representatives of people of Jammu and Kashmir.
Professor Butt warned that three nuclear powers are directly involved in the Kashmir dispute, which can prove dangerous for the whole world if left unaddressed.
Meanwhile, All Parties Hurriyat Conference, paiding rich tributes to martyred mujahid commander Dr. Saifullah, has reiterated that the people of Kashmir would continue their freedom struggle as a mark of real tribute to the brave sons of soil.
In a statement in Srinagar, the APHC said Kashmiris remain indebted to huge sacrifices of their beloved martyrs.
