Iran and China sign 25 year cooperation pact with a roadmap.
Originally, in 2015, the Islamic Republic of Iran and China issued a joint comprehensive strategic statement.

Therein both sides agreed to conclude a comprehensive cooperation document.
After consultations and negotiations on March 27, 2021, Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif and his Chinese counterpart Wang Yi signed the Iran-China comprehensive cooperation document.
They signed the document during a meeting in Tehran on Saturday.
The document discusses the capacities and prospects of bilateral cooperation in different fields.
Specially, they include economic and cultural sectors.
Iran and China believe that this document will further promote the ongoing development and comprehensive strategic partnership between the two countries.
Besides, it will create prosperity for the two nations.
Now both sides eye reciprocal investments in fields of transport, ports, energy, industry and services.
China FM makes pledge
In a ceremony live telecasted on state television, Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi said Beijing’s relations with Iran will not be affected by current situation but will be permanent and strategic.
Iranian Media quoted President Hassan Rouhani’s Adviser, Hesameddin Ashena saying that the accord is an example of successful diplomacy.
Meanwhile, Iran FM Javad Zarif said that relations between Iran and China become stronger than before.
He said this during a meeting with China delegation.
