The Government of Canada has shared requirements for individuals seeking Canadian citizenship and they are not that complicated.
To become a Canadian citizen, the individual be a permanent resident in the country for three out of last five years.
He has filed taxes in eligible, pass a test on rights, responsibilities, and knowledge of Canada.
Lastly, he or she has to prove language skills.
For those, who are aiming to renew their past Canadian citizens have to follow specific procedures and also adhere to the restoration process outlined by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC).
They are required to take and pass a citizenship test – the main course is related to the rights and responsibilities of Canadian citizens and Canada’s history, geography, economy, government, laws, and symbols.
They also need to pass a language test, comprising of everyday conversations, simple instructions and basic grammar for individuals aged between 18 and 54 years old.
