Israel’s Netanyahu threatens Lebanon with destruction ‘like Gaza’

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has warned Lebanon that it could face destruction “like Gaza” as Tel Aviv ramps up its ground offensive against Hezbollah along the southern section of the Lebanese coast.

The Israeli prime minister also claimed that Hashim Safiuddin, the possible successor of Hezbollah leader Shaheed Hassan Nasrallah, was killed in the Beirut attack.

On the other hand, the Israeli army has started a ground operation in the western sector of South Lebanon, while air strikes are also continuing in South Lebanon, including Beirut.

The Israeli army claimed to have killed Hezbollah’s main commander Sohail Hussein Husseini in the attack on Beirut.

Hezbollah responded to the aggression of the Zionist army and attacked the Israeli city of Haifa with more than 100 rockets. In the attack, the residential buildings, houses and vehicles of Haifa were severely damaged.

Meanwhile, the Israeli army claimed to shoot down most of the rockets fired by Hezbollah.

Rockets were also fired at northern Israel from Gaza. It is reported that several soldiers were killed and injured in the bomb attack on the Israeli soldiers of Al-Qassam Brigade in northern Gaza.

Israeli army’s bombardment of refugee camps in Gaza continued. In the last 24 hours, more than 50 Palestinians were martyred by Israeli aggression.
