Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s government has taken tough measures for refugees and temporary residents, requiring people whose visas have expired to leave the country voluntarily.

In this regard, the Immigration Minister has issued a stern warning that if the refugees do not do so, they will be deported.

The campaign will run till March with a budget of 2,50,000 Canadian dollars (about 1.78 lakh US dollars) and will have advertisements in 11 languages ​​including Urdu, Hindi, Tamil, Spanish and Ukrainian.

Analysts, on the other hand, say the campaign is part of Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s unpopular government’s efforts to take a tougher stance on immigration to reduce the number of asylum applications.

Apart from this, migrants have also been blamed for increasing the prices of residential plots and houses, although some experts say that this is a superficial explanation.

Opinion polls show a growing number of Canadians believe the country is accepting too many new immigrants.
