Terrorist who killed 15 people after plowing vehicle into crowd shot dead by New Orleans police

15 people were dead and 30 or more hurt after a truck intentionally drove into a large crowd on Canal and Bourbon Street in New Orleans’ French Quarter at a high speed early, the city officials said.

Sources said that the terrorist who killed at least 15 people and injured 35 others after plowing a vehicle into a crowd celebrating has been killed.

The accident took place at the intersection of Canal and Bourbon Streets during New Year’s Eve celebrations, they said in a statement.

Police have found a suspected improvised explosive device at the scene, according to the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI).

Special Agent Alethea Duncan told a press conference after the attack: “We are working on confirming if this is a viable device or not.”

During a televised news conference. Police Chief Anne Kirkpatrick said a driver intentionally drove into a crowd at around 3:15am.

She further said that this man was trying to run over as many people as he could.

She said: “He was hell bent on creating the carnage and damage that he did.”

Kirkpatrick further said the driver fired at police and struck two police officers after his vehicle crashed.
