Hindu extremists attack restaurant owned by Pakistan-origin Briton in England
An incident of religious bigotry has occurred in a restaurant in the city of Sheffield, United Kingdom.
Hindu extremists attacked a British Pakistani restaurant in Sheffield, England. The group vandalized the restaurant and harassed the staff.
Restaurant owner Rahimullah Khan said in a conversation with the media that the Indian nationals were in a state of intoxication. After eating they made a noise at the counter saying that beef has been mixed with mutton.
According to Rahimullah Khan, the glass and other items of the restaurant were damaged in the attack.
The restaurant management told them that beef is not in the menu, but drunken people attacked the workers. After the incident the accused have been arrested.
British police are conducting further investigations into the incident at the Sheffield restaurant.
