‘War-like situation in Los Angeles’: Hollywood Hills on fire; curfew imposed amid looting

Nighttime curfews have been imposed, and the National Guard has been deployed after looting in Los Angeles, one of the worst fires in history.

Los Angeles police have warned that curfew violators will be arrested.

In some areas, locals have even started patrolling the streets to protect their homes.

Meanwhile, efforts are underway to control the worst fire in the history of the forest in the city of Los Angeles, California, on Tuesday.

Due to the fire, more than 12,000 buildings have been destroyed and more than 200, 000 people have been displaced.

The fire has killed 11 people and injured dozens, while the death toll is expected to rise.

12,000 fire fighters, 11,00 fire engines, 60 planes and 143 water tankers are engaged in extinguishing the fire. Initial damage estimates have reached $150 billion.

The fire has destroyed more than 37,000 hectares and strong winds could cause it to spread further.

Popular areas of Hollywood, including Pacific Palisades, are also under fire, where many celebrities have left their homes and moved to other areas.
