Khamenei calls Gaza ceasefire a defeat for Israel

Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khamenei called the Gaza ceasefire a defeat for Israel.

In a meeting with Iranian officials in Tehran, Khamenei said that the small and limited Gaza forced the Zionist government to its knees and that the armed Zionist government had to call for a ceasefire, while it also had the support of the United States.

According to the Iranian media, Khamenei further said that Gaza has forced the Zionist government to kneel with full American support, this is the perfection of resistance.

He added that we know that behind the smiles of diplomacy there are hidden and internal animosities and malice.

The leader also said the United States embodies arrogance and colonialism in today’s world.

He warned the the world’s bullying and evil powers have a covetous eye on the countries’ and nations’ natural resources.

He stated stated that today, the description that we give for colonialism and arrogance is entirely manifested by the US government.

Khamenei said foes and friends thought that the martyrdom of Hezbollah leader Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah had eliminated Lebanon’s resistance movement.

He described the US’s award for the commander of the missile cruiser that shot down an Iranian passenger plane in 1988 as an example of the enemies’ evil nature.
