Trump govt decides to cancel visas of Hamas sympathizers living in US

The Trump administration has decided to cancel the visas of students living in the United States who support Hamas.

Arab media quoted White House officials as saying that Donald Trump will sign an executive order today to deal with anti-Semitism.

Under the order, foreign nationals residing in the United States, including foreign students, who have participated in demonstrations in support of Palestine can be deported.

A fact sheet released about the executive order said Trump would direct the Justice Department to crack down on “terrorist threats, arson, vandalism and violence” against Jewish Americans.

The fact sheet clearly states that all foreign residents who join ‘pro-jihadi’ protests will be tracked down and deported in 2025. The fact sheet also talks about the immediate cancellation of student visas of ‘all Hamas sympathizers’ in universities.

According to Arab media, a study released in May reported that 97 percent of protests at American universities were peaceful.
