Hamas rejects Trump’s plans of taking over Gaza

05 February, 2025 14:23

The leader of the Palestinian resistance organization Hamas has also reacted to US President Donald Trump’s statement about the long-term occupation of Gaza.
Hamas official Sami Abu Zuhri called US President Donald Trump’s statement of occupying Gaza ridiculous and unreasonable, saying that such inappropriate views can ignite fire in the region.

In Pakistan, Hamas spokesman Khalid Qadomi said in his statement that Gaza will be rebuilt and will rise stronger than ever before, there can be no compromise on the rights of Palestinians.

“With the help of Allah, we have defeated Israel, the Israeli army will not exist in Gaza.”

Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese responded to the US president’s statement, saying that Donald Trump’s announcement of the take over of Gaza was a shock, supporting a two-state solution in the Middle East.

US Democratic Senator Chris Murphy said the US attack on Gaza would kill thousands of US troops and lead to decades of war in the Middle East.

Murphy further said that the real story is that billionaires have taken over the government to loot ordinary people.

Tariq Habash, a former US policy adviser who resigned from the Biden administration over unconditional support for Israel, said Trump’s proposal to push Palestinians out of Gaza was an endorsement of genocide and a clear violation of international law.
