Israel has decided to impose new restrictions on Palestinians entering the Al-Aqsa Mosque during the month of Ramazan.

An Arab media report said that the Zionist government has decided to impose new restrictions on the entry of Palestinians into the Al-Aqsa Mosque on the arrival of the month of Ramazan.

The report quoted Israeli media as saying that only men older than 55 years, women over 50 years of age and children 12 years or younger will be allowed to enter the Mosque of Aqsa during the month of Ramadan.

The report also said that under the Gaza ceasefire agreement, Palestinians released from Israeli jails and arrived in the West Bank will also not be allowed to enter the Al-Aqsa Mosque.

The report further said that those who want to come to Al-Aqsa Mosque will have to apply to Israeli authorities before coming, while only 10,000 people will be allowed to enter the mosque premises for Friday prayers in Ramazan.
