US President Donald Trump has expressed the possibility that negotiations to end the Ukrainian war are progressing well, adding the battle could end in a few weeks.
According to foreign media reports, French President Emmanuel Macron met with US President Trump at the White House.
In a joint conference after the meeting, the US president said that the Ukraine war could end in a few weeks as negotiations to end the war are progressing well. There is apparently no problem in sending European forces for peace in Ukraine.
Trump said that he will meet the Ukrainian president this week or next week. He added that he will also meet the Russian president at some point and ready to go to Moscow at the appropriate time.
The US president said that he will see whether Ukraine should leave its territory or not and Russian President Putin will accept European peacekeepers.
On the other hand, the French president said that our goal is to establish lasting peace in Ukraine as we are ready to guarantee security to Ukraine.
