Oman announced Eid 2025 holidays
The Eid Al-Fitr 1446 AH holiday for public and private sectors in Oman will officially begin on Saturday, 29 March 2025, as directed by Royal Orders.
The end date of the holiday depends on the sighting of the moon:

Scenario A: If Eid falls on Sunday, 30 March 2025, the holidays will continue until Tuesday, 1 April 2025. Work will resume on Wednesday, 2 April 2025.

Scenario B: If Eid falls on Monday, 31 March 2025, the holidays will last until Thursday, 3 April 2025. Work will begin again on Sunday, 6 April 2025.
The Ministry of Labour added that work may still be required during the holiday period if necessary. In such cases, employees must be given compensation as per the country’s labour laws.
The announcement allows citizens and residents to begin planning for their Eid celebrations and travel accordingly, while also maintaining flexibility for work needs where required.
