Former Oyo Governor Ajimobi’s Eldest Daughter, Bisola Ajimobi Dies At 42
Bisola Ajimobi Kola-Daisi, the eldest daughter of the late former Oyo State Governor, Abiola Ajimobi, has passed away at the age of 42.
A Tragic Loss
Family sources confirmed that Bisola died in the early hours of Thursday in the United Kingdom. However, the cause of death has not been disclosed.
Her passing comes just four years after the death of her father, Senator Abiola Ajimobi, who served as the Governor of Oyo State from 2011 to 2019 and died in June 2020 due to COVID-19 complications.
Her Life and Career
Until her passing, Bisola served as the Special Adviser to the Minister of Budget and Economic Planning, Senator Atiku Bagudu. She was married to businessman Mr. Kolapo Kola-Daisi and was known for her dedication to public service and philanthropic contributions.
Confirmation from Family and Officials
The late governor’s former media aide, Mr. Bolaji Tunji, confirmed the tragic news to journalists in Ibadan on Thursday. “Yes. It has been confirmed,” Tunji stated, adding that the family will provide further details in due course.
