Iran complains to UN about Trump’s irresponsible remarks

Iran has filed a complaint with the Security Council against the irresponsible and aggressive statements of US President Donald Trump.

Iran has called Trump’s statements a clear violation of international law and the UN Charter.

In the letter, Iran’s Ambassador to the United Nations Amir Saeed Irwani wrote that if the United States or the Israeli government attacks Iran in any way, it will be responded immediately and decisively.

Trump on Sunday threatened Iran with bombing and further sanctions if Tehran did not strike a deal with Washington over its nuclear program.

Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei responded to President Trump’s threat, saying that the enmity between the United States and Israel has always been there, if the United States does such a step, it will suffer a severe response.

Ayatollah Khamenei said that if the United States thinks of a coup in Iran as before, the Iranian people will deal with it themselves.
