Saudi-US nuclear deal expected soon

Saudi Arabia’s Press Attaché in Pakistan Dr Nayef has said that great progress has been made in the agreement between the kingdom and the United States and a nuclear agreement is expected between the two countries soon.

In a statement on social networking site X, Saudi Press Attaché Dr. Nayef, referring to the statement of the US Energy Secretary, said that Washington and Riyadh will soon sign an agreement to invest in energy and civil nuclear technology.

He said the US Energy Secretary’s statement added that Saudi Arabia is working to localize the peaceful nuclear energy industry.

“We will announce more details of nuclear cooperation with Saudi Arabia this year and cooperate with Saudi Arabia in the field of peaceful nuclear energy,” he said.

In his statement, the US Energy Secretary said that Saudi Arabia is engaged in efforts to make the world a better place and I hope that we will see a long-term partnership with Saudi Arabia.
