UAE announces new petrol, diesel prices for May 2025

The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has announced the new petrol and diesel prices for May 2025. The UAE fuel price committee shared the updated rates on Wednesday. These new prices will be effective starting May 1, 2025.

Here are the new fuel prices:

• Super 98 petrol will cost AED 2.58 per litre, slightly up from AED 2.57 in April.

• Special 95 petrol will now cost AED 2.47 per litre, up from AED 2.46 last month.

• E-Plus petrol will be priced at AED 2.39 per litre, just a bit higher than AED 2.38 in April.

• Diesel, however, has become cheaper, now costing AED 2.52 per litre compared to AED 2.63 last month.

The changes are small but important for drivers and businesses across the country.
