Kuwait announces Eid-ul-Adha 2025 holidays - check schedule
Kuwait has announced the Eid-ul-Adha 2025 holidays, following the sighting of the Dhul Qadah moon, the 11th month in the Islamic calendar.
Since the next month is Dhul Hijjah — which includes the Hajj pilgrimage and Eid-ul-Adha — authorities have shared the official holiday schedule.
According to reports, the Kuwaiti Council of Ministers has declared public holidays from Thursday, June 5 to Sunday, June 8 for Arafat Day and Eid-ul-Adha.
Monday, June 9, will also be a day off, and work will resume on Tuesday, June 10.
The Dhul Hijjah moon is expected to be seen on May 27, which would make May 28 the first day of the holy month in Kuwait.

Eid-ul-Adha will be celebrated on June 6
Eid-ul-Adha is one of the biggest Islamic festivals. It honors the great sacrifice of Prophet Ibrahim (AS) and his son Ismail (AS) and is celebrated by Muslims around the world on the 10th day of Dhul Hijjah with deep religious devotion.
