Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has addressed the nation but appeared off-color on Monday.
In his speech, Narendra Modi called the Pahalgam incident an atrocity and repeated traditional accusations against Pakistan.
He said that the new normal is that India will respond immediately to an attack on itself; water and blood cannot flow together, and trade, negotiations, and terrorism cannot go hand in hand.
He said that if there are talks with Pakistan, they will be on ending terrorism, and if there is talk about Kashmir, it will be on Azad Jammu and Kashmir.
Modi also repeated the false narrative that the ceasefire was implemented at Pakistan’s request and said he would not succumb to the blackmail of the threat of a nuclear attack.
