Pak-India war: DW exposes India’s misleading propaganda and fake news

12 May, 2025 11:24

Indian media conducted misleading propaganda against Pakistan during aggression.

Global broadcasting organization DW proved videos shared from Indian accounts to be false through fact-checking.

A few days ago, a video of an attack on the Pakistani city of Sialkot was shared from an Indian social media account, according to DW.

This video of the attack on Sialkot shared on Indian social media is based on falsehoods, the media stated.

The video is a month old and was actually of an explosion caused by a gas cylinder in Mumbai, it reported.

A fake video created with AI of DG ISPR was also shared from an Indian account.

In this video, the original words spoken by DG ISPR were changed with the help of AI. Videos supporting Indian aggression from US President Donald Trump were also shared from Indian accounts.

It is clear from fact-checking that the video was made using AI and the US President did not make any such statement.  Fake videos can incite people; one should definitely fact-check before sharing them, said DW.

Indian media has always tried to cover up the facts by spreading misleading propaganda and lies, said defence experts.
