China’s J-10 may pose a key threat to US F-16 aircraft exports: American magazine
An American magazine has stated that China’s J-10 fighter aircraft could pose a major threat to the exports of the US F-16 aircraft.
The American magazine National Interest reported that during the recent conflict between India and Pakistan, Chinese weapons and aircraft performed far better than Western expectations.
According to the report, the J-10 fighter aircraft, equipped with China’s PL-15 air-to-air missile, successfully managed to completely halt India’s initial advances.
The American magazine claims that China is now trying to make the J-10 a real competitor to the U.S.-built F-16.
The report states that if Chinese companies succeed in disrupting the sales of the American F-16, it would be a significant blow to the U.S. defense sector.
