Indian soldiers killed in Himachal Pradesh attack, Modi govt hides truth
Himachal Pradesh:Â According to sources, a deadly attack took place on an Indian army bus near Kumarhatti Railway Station in Himachal Pradesh. Several Indian soldiers were killed, but the Modi government chose to hide the facts.
Sources say the Indian army once again used its old method of covering up military deaths. Just like before, the Modi government blocked the media from reporting the truth.
One news report about the attack appeared briefly on an Indian TV channel but was quickly deleted. Even the Times of India removed the news from its website after orders from the Modi government, sources claim.
Reports also suggest that Indian soldiers are being used like tools in war. After they die, even their names are not mentioned, which has raised serious concerns.
Defense experts say that the silence of the Modi government proves it is skilled at hiding facts. They also pointed to past examples of fake news by the Indian media.
During Operation Sindoor, Indian media falsely reported that Karachi Port was destroyed. When this claim was proven false through fact-checking, the story was quietly removed from all major channels.
In another case, the Indian army posted a video of its own missile on social media and wrongly claimed it was from the enemy. After people exposed the lie, the video was deleted from their official account.
According to Al Jazeera, Indian channel NDTV had also wrongly reported that Pakistani tanks were moving toward Rajasthan. That report was also taken down.
Other Indian media outlets like Times Now, Republic World, News9, and India TV were accused of spreading fake news, including false reports about capturing a Pakistani pilot and shooting down JF-17 and F-16 jets. Some of these channels later apologized.
Defense experts say the Modi government is using the Indian media for its own political goals. Controlling the press and hiding the truth is a sign of failure in India’s defense policy, they added.
