India at Risk of Losing BRICS Membership After Operation Sindoor Failure

08 June, 2025 11:38

After the failure of Operation Sindoor, India faces increased diplomatic challenges, including possible expulsion from BRICS membership.

India’s failed Operation Sindoor and its unprovoked aggression against Pakistan have put it in deeper trouble on the international stage.

According to sources, BRICS member states have begun considering India’s removal from the alliance.

Reports indicate that BRICS is evaluating a proposal to replace India with Indonesia as a new and key member.

In this context, Russia is also reportedly in favor of India’s expulsion from BRICS.

Formal negotiations are ongoing between China, Russia, and Brazil regarding India’s removal, as India is being accused of obstructing the objectives of the BRICS alliance.

Sources say BRICS members view India as a “negative bloc,” with member states considering India a major hurdle in progress and cooperation.
