Iran Strikes Israel with Major Missile Attack Under “True Promise 3” Operation

Iran has launched a large-scale missile attack on Israel, firing over 150 ballistic missiles as part of its retaliatory operation named “True Promise 3” (Waad-e-Sadiq 3).

Iranian state media reports confirm that several missiles successfully hit key Israeli targets, including the military headquarters in Tel Aviv.

The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) said the operation began with full national support, responding to what it called Israel’s “brutal and unjustified attacks.” Following the missile strikes, explosions and clouds of smoke were seen in Tel Aviv. Israeli media confirmed that a hypersonic missile directly hit near the Israeli Ministry of Defense, causing fires and panic.

Sirens blared across Israeli cities, and citizens were ordered into emergency bunkers. The Israeli army had to halt a scheduled press briefing due to a high-alert lockdown at military headquarters.

Amid the chaos, Iran claimed it shot down two Israeli fighter jets, including an F-35 aircraft, using its air defense systems. Iranian sources said an Israeli pilot ejected before the crash and was being pursued by Iranian forces.

According to Iranian and Israeli media, the ongoing conflict has resulted in 104 deaths and 376 injuries in Iran due to earlier Israeli strikes.

In a powerful national address, Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei vowed that Israel would pay the price for its crimes. “Our armed forces will cripple the Zionist regime,” he declared. “This is only the beginning of our response. Israel cannot escape punishment.”

The situation marks a dangerous new escalation in the Middle East, with both nations on high alert and global powers calling for restraint to avoid a wider regional war.
