Iran’s response attack, Netanyahu refuses to back down
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has called on the people of Iran to rise against their government.
In a video message broadcast by international media, Netanyahu directly addressed Iranian citizens during an ongoing military conflict between the two nations.
“Tonight, I speak to the proud people of Iran,” Netanyahu said. “We have launched one of the largest military operations in history — Operation Rising Line.”
He accused the Iranian government of oppressing its people for nearly 50 years and constantly threatening to destroy Israel. According to Netanyahu, Israel’s goal in this operation is to eliminate the nuclear and ballistic missile threats posed by Iran’s leadership.
“In doing so,” he added, “we are not only protecting our country but also helping to open the path for your freedom.”
Netanyahu claimed that in the past 24 hours, Israeli forces have killed senior military commanders and nuclear scientists, and destroyed key missile systems and nuclear enrichment facilities in Iran. He said the operation is still ongoing.
He urged the Iranian people to realize that their government is in a weak state and unaware of the full scale of the damage already done. “Now is the time to rise, speak out, and take a stand,” he said.
He reminded Iranians of the long history of friendship between the two nations and encouraged them to unite under their national identity and cultural heritage to fight for their freedom.
Netanyahu made it clear that Israel’s conflict is not with the Iranian people but with the regime that, according to him, oppresses and economically destroys them.
“I stand with you,” he concluded. “The people of Israel stand with you.”
