Iran’s IRGC Intelligence Chief, Deputy Chief Martyred in Israeli Strikes

Israeli strikes on Tehran claimed the lives of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) Intelligence Chief and Deputy Chief.

According to Iranian media, the Israeli attack on Tehran yesterday resulted in the martyrdom of the IRGC Intelligence Chief, General Mohammad Kazemi, and Deputy Chief, General Hassan Mohaqeq.

General Mohammad Kazemi was appointed head of the IRGC’s Intelligence Branch in 2022 and played a key role in Iran’s internal and external security matters.

Deputy Chief General Hassan Mohaqeq also held highly sensitive responsibilities. In addition, General Mohsen Baqeri was also martyred in the Israeli attack.
