Who is Sahar Emami? Brave Iranian Anchor Returns to Live Coverage After Israeli Attack

Sahar Emami is an Iranian news anchor known for her role as a prominent presenter on IRINN, Iran’s 24-hour state-run news channel operated by the Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting (IRIB).

Emami gained international attention on June 16, 2025, when she was broadcasting live during an Israeli airstrike that struck the IRIB headquarters in Tehran.
