China Warns Against Use of Force After Trump’s Israel-Iran Conflict Remarks

China on Thursday publicly opposed the “use of force” in international relations, responding to U.S. President Donald Trump’s warning that he was considering American military intervention in the escalating Israel-Iran conflict.

China’s Official Stance

At a regular press briefing, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Guo Jiakun stated:

“China opposes any act that infringes upon the sovereignty, security, and territorial integrity of other countries, and opposes the use or threat of use of force in international relations.”

The remarks came as fresh exchanges of fire between Israel and Iran raised fears of a broader regional war.

Call for Immediate Ceasefire

China urged all parties, particularly Israel, to de-escalate tensions:

“China strongly calls on all parties involved in the conflict, especially Israel, to put the interests of the region’s people first, immediately cease fire and stop fighting.”

Iran’s Warning to the U.S.

Meanwhile, Iran’s Deputy Foreign Minister Kazem Gharibabadi issued a stark warning to Washington:

“If the United States wants to actively enter the field in favour of the Zionist regime, Iran will have to use its tools to both teach a lesson to aggressors and defend its national security and national interests.”

He added that Iran’s military leaders had “all necessary options on the table” should the U.S. intervene.
