Emirates ID replacement fee updated for Pakistani and other residents

Emirates ID replacement fee updated for Pakistani and other residents
If you are living in the UAE — whether you’re a citizen, a Pakistani, Indian, or from any other country — and you lose your Emirates ID, you must apply for a replacement right away.
The Emirates ID is a must-have document for all UAE residents and citizens. It’s used for getting government services and proving your identity.
Here’s a simple guide on what to do:
Step 1: Report the Loss
Go to the nearest ICP Customer Happiness Centre and report that your ID is lost or damaged. They will deactivate your old card to prevent misuse. You must bring identification documents with you to prove who you are.
If you’re a foreign resident (like from Pakistan or India), you must bring your original passport with a valid residency visa.
Step 2: Apply for a New Card
You can fill out the replacement application at any ICP Customer Happiness Centre. You can also apply online through the UAE ICP app (available on iTunes and Google Play) or on the ICA website.
Step 3: Pay the Fees
To replace a lost Emirates ID, you will need to pay:
AED 300 for the replacement
AED 70 if applying through typing centres
AED 40 if applying online through the ICA website
Make sure to apply as soon as possible, as carrying your Emirates ID at all times is a legal requirement in the UAE.
