Iran, Israel Agree to Complete Ceasefire, Claims Trump
US President Donald Trump claimed that a complete ceasefire has been agreed upon between Israel and Iran.
President Trump, in a statement released on his social media platform Truth Social, wrote, “Congratulations to everyone, it has been fully agreed by and between Israel and Iran that there will be a complete and total ceasefire.”
He stated that hostilities between the two countries would cease six hours from now, after both sides complete their ongoing final missions.
Trump added that Iran would officially begin the ceasefire first, and by the 12th hour, Israel would also initiate its ceasefire. By the 24th hour, the end of the “12-day war” would be formally recognized worldwide.
Donald Trump said that during the ceasefire, both sides will maintain a peaceful and respectful attitude.
The US President congratulated both Israel and Iran for their courage, perseverance, and wisdom in ending a war that could have lasted for years.
He added that the “12-day war” could have gone on for years and had the potential to devastate the entire Middle East — but that didn’t happen, and it won’t.
In another post, Trump wrote, “Congratulations, world—it’s time for peace.”
