Tensions Escalate Between Indian Military and Modi Government After Operation Sindoor Failure

Tensions have escalated between the Indian military and the Modi government after the failure of Operation Sindoor. Following a crushing defeat in the Battle of Truth, Indian officers have blamed the political leadership for the failure.

During the “India-Pakistan Air Battle” seminar held in Indonesia, Indian defense attaché Navy Officer Captain Shiv Kumar admitted the loss of Indian aircraft and stated that the Modi government’s rigid political directives limited the Indian Air Force’s operations.

“During the operation against Pakistan, the Indian Air Force suffered aircraft losses,” said Captain Shiv Kumar. Captain Shiv Kumar further stated that the Indian armed forces are not autonomous but are bound by political orders.

“Due to political interference by the Modi government, the Indian Air Force was unable to strike Pakistani military targets,” Captain Shiv Kumar claimed.

After Captain Shiv Kumar’s revelations, the Congress party has also strongly criticized the Modi government. Previously, Chief of Defence Staff Anil Chauhan had also acknowledged the downing of Indian aircraft during Operation Sandhoor, according to a Congress tweet.

“Why is the Modi government avoiding calling an all-parties conference and hiding facts from both the opposition and the nation?” — Congress question. Congress questioned the rejection of the demand to convene a special parliamentary session on this sensitive national issue.

Operation Sandhoor has become a shameful symbol of military failure, political deceit, and incompetent leadership by the Modi government. The Modi government is not fighting on the battlefield, but only waging a narrative war through state-aligned media.

The attempt to hide military losses is clear proof of the Modi government’s false narratives and anti-people policies. While the Indian military has admitted operational failure, the Modi government continues to keep the nation in the dark.

Rising tensions between the military and the Modi government are a forewarning of India’s internal contradictions.
