Modi Government’s Failed Diplomatic Strategy Under Severe Criticism
Congress leader Pramod Tiwari has sharply criticized the foreign policy and diplomatic strategy of the Modi government, describing them as limited to showmanship and sloganeering, which led to India facing isolation on the global stage.
Speaking about the recent Operation Sindoor, Tiwari stated that no country openly supported India during the operation. In contrast, Pakistan’s diplomatic relations have received significant global recognition.
Tiwari further highlighted that powerful countries like China and Turkey provided strong backing to Pakistan amid the situation. He also pointed out the failure of Modi’s campaign slogan “This time, Trump government,” noting that former US President Donald Trump distanced himself from India during Operation Sandor.
According to Tiwari, the Trump administration claimed the role of a mediator and recognized Pakistan as an equal party in the conflict.
He added that despite Modi’s numerous foreign tours, these visits have not translated into any substantial diplomatic gains for India.
Concluding his remarks, Tiwari said that the silence of global powers during Operation Sondoor clearly exposes the failure of Modi government’s foreign policy.
