Iran Announces Resumption of Nuclear Talks with European Countries
Iran has announced the resumption of nuclear talks with European countries.
Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi stated in an official statement that negotiations with the UK, France, and Germany will take place on Friday in Istanbul.
He said that Iran will not return to the old agreement, adding that the European countries no longer have the moral justification to implement the 2015 deal.
He further stated that the European countries supported Israeli and American aggression against Iran.
It is worth noting that negotiations between Iran and the US were suspended last month following attacks by Israel and the US on Iran’s nuclear facilities.
The Iranian government has agreed to engage in talks with European nations in an effort to avoid the possible reimposition of United Nations sanctions.
